Pet care experience
I have cared for pets and dogs since I was a kid. I help care for my sisters dog every day. I have checked in and hung out with dogs for a couple hours or take them out to use the bathroom. I take my sisters dog out for walks sometimes since he was underweight at the time it wasn’t as often.

We had a last minute snafu with move plans - It just happened to be 4th of July weekend, but Marissa stepped in and took amazing care of our baby. She sent text and picture updates that we really appreciated. I highly recommend Marisa!!!

Marisa has always cared for my dog when I have had to go out of town or I'm at work. I feel bad when my dog is alone all day but Marisa keeps him company and loves on him.

I won’t be boarding male dogs but females dogs are welcome. I don’t have much of a yard but enough to take bathroom breaks for my dogs. My dog is male only about 20lbs and doesn’t get along with almost all male dogs he’s been around. I am only going to board female dogs in my home. My dog has loved every female dog that stays with us.

It’s good to know if a dog tends to chew or get into stuff so I can keep them out of reach. My sisters dog loves trash for example. I’d also love to know how your dog does meeting new dogs or people. This helps out on walks or other places where there might be a meeting so I can keep everyone safe.
A typical day
I will most likely love your dog and enjoy playing with them. I would love to play ball with a dog that would actually bring it back! If I’m just taking your furry friend on a walk once a day that’s great too. I’d love dog friendly trail suggestions I don’t know many around here.

My daily schedule is flexible and laidback as I only work some part time gigs such as Rover or doordash. If your dog is boarding in my home I will be around most of the time to watch them. Although it’s good if your dog can be alone for a couple hours if I went out to dinner for example. My schedule also works well if you need walks/visits for a specific time of day.
