Pet care experience
I have 4 furry friends that are near and dear to my heart. I believe that your special pet(s) deserves a pet sitter that is able to provide unconditional positive attention when you are away. My experience started by volunteering at C.A.R.L. in Ventura County where I walked many dogs, provided appropriate transportation to and from adoption center and cleaned kennels. I also volunteered at Villalobos Rescue Center (Animal Planet Series) when the location was in California. At Villalobos, I looked after pitbull breed dogs and provided exercise on a regular basis. I believe that animals are able to sense the energy one projects and I pride myself on being calm, patient and loving. I enjoy walking and exercising daily as well as cuddling up on the couch. I understand how hard it can be to leave your pet at home so I try to ease your worry by continue communication and photos of your pet doing well. I was nervous leaving our dog with a Rover sitter for the first time but we had a really good experience and I feel lucky to have found Mario. I appreciated Mario's way with Boris the moment he walked in the door the first time I met him, and noticed Boris' barking quickly settled down. He and his partner have volunteered at Lily's Legacy Senior Dog Sanctuary, and the Executive Director gave him a glowing review - solid, dependable, great with dogs, and just a wonderful person. Mario showed up exactly on time, followed care instructions, respected Boris' timing, listened to him, and even took him on a 9pm walk. I appreciated the heartwarming updates and photos and he left the house super nice with nary a trace he'd been here, other than that Boris was happy and healthy.
Mario has the love and experience to care for any dog, small or large, young or old, and even special needs pets. He treats all dogs as if they were his own, giving them unconditional love and attention. He is calm and gentle and easily gains the trust of any dog (even men-feared dogs). He is attentive to their behavior and understands what it takes to care for an animal. I would trust Mario to care for any of my dogs!
