Dogs hold a very special place in my heart and I have grown up with all types of animals. I have always tried to have jobs where I was surrounded by dogs. At 12 years old, my mom let me hang fliers around our little neighborhood for my dog walking business. My regulars consisted of 2 Rottweilers and an 8 month old corgi. My first job (legally) at the age of 16 was working at a pet hotel where my day consisted of lots of slobber and tennis balls. Certain dogs had pool privileges and those were my favorite days. After that, I spent two years working at a pet store where I sold organic pet food and accessories. We would hold special meet up groups where I loved photographing the dogs play with one another. My job now does not consist of me being surrounded by dogs, so I am hoping that being a part of Rover will bring me the same joy as my previous jobs.
