Bog City Dogs

Pet care experience

I have been rescuing, training, and providing dog care for over 20 years. I have a special way with dogs. My friends even call me the dog whisper. You can judge me by how well your dog likes me! They always know best. I provide snaps chats, videos, and pictures for your enjoyment so you know how well your dog is doing while I visit. My doggy clients get excited when they hear my car. BOARDING while you are on vacation or coming for DOGGY DAYCARE, you will always be happy knowing your canine family member is in good hands. While I have spent a great deal of time in the world of sales and marketing, I have always saved room the rescue, training, and placement of dogs in need. From that I have learned a great deal of dog behaviors and how to manage them. I grew up on an 80 acre farm in California where I had multiple dogs and trained horses. After moving to Massachusetts I focused strictly on dogs. I enjoy them more then I do people. I love dogs and they love me. Here in the south shore of Massachusetts, We have a nice home for HOME STYLE care with a large fenced IN yard and plenty of room for doggy day care or sleepovers. We believe in LOVE, EXERCISE, and TRAINING. the more exercise they get, the happier and well-adjusted your pups will be ***IMPORTANT NOTES BELOW*** HOLIDAYS! We took our dog to our family reunion week in Wareham. We knew that we would need some doggie day care on some of the days. Marina was so welcoming. She treated our Maya like one of her own. She has the perfect property to host your dog. Lots of fenced in space, wonderful play areas and a dog pool. Her house was super dog friendly, air conditioned and Maya made her self very comfortable! Her own dog ended up being a great play mate and Maya would return to her house excited to be there. We are very grateful that Marina fit us in last minute and plan to book again with her next year!

Marina is true dog lover, knowledgeable, kind, and patient. I met her when she fostered a pup for the rescue where I am a volunteer. It is such a good feeling to know when I drop my dog off he will have a great day, come home tired, and be well cared for.

Marina is a loving and protective caregiver for you beloved pet. She has dedicated much of her life to caring and fostering dogs and understands the nature of the canine. Marina helped my puppy quickly learn various cues for training and behaving well thru reward without use of any punishment, as she understands the pets need to please. My Theodore "Ted" is a well rounded and well behaved dog around both large and small dogs. He is a Bichon and plays well with dogs of all types, as long as they are 'friendly'. Give Marina a try and see for yourself how your dog will want to return to Marina's for 'playtime' and activities.

Information Marina P. would like to know about your pet

Must be up to date on all shots. Spayed/Neutered. Well socialized. I must be notified if your dog has any aggression or other issues that may be of concern while we are out and about. I would also require to know if there are any medical issues that I need to be aware of such as medications, physical needs, and vet care practices should they need medical attention. It is important to have a meet and greet before any dog sitting or boarding takes place. I would like for you to meet me and feel comfortable with my services and also to meet with my dog should you require doggy day care and or overnighting. I always recommend to meet with you in a nice walking places such as the beach or a park and have a short walk and talk. If that does not work, I am flexible. And if you are in an emergency situation, I am willing to work with you on that as well.

A typical day

For the most part your pup will receive socialization with other campers/boarders. We will be hanging around the yard, playing ball or frisbee, and whatever your pet likes most. On special occasions we may go walking on fun trails, around the bogs, at the beach, swimming, hiking, riding in the car,an maybeshopping at Petco.
