Pet care experience
I have taken care of cats since I was about 10 years old. We had a cat growing up with every medical problem under the sun, so I can also give pills and other medication in addition to regular cat care (brushing, nail clipping, litter box scooping, feeding and playing). I frequently cat-sit for friends and family.

Marina did a great job of caring for my kitty for over a week! She sent a ton of photos and videos, gave plenty of little updates, and did a great job making sure my cat took her medicine. With in-home cat visits, I always make sure to check that kitties have been eating, drinking water and using the litter box. I refill food and water as needed and give them some pets and playtime. I scoop the litter box as often as requested.

Let me know if your kitty is very shy around new people, as this will change my approach to playing with them. Conversely, let me know if they are very affectionate or high-energy, as it may be harder to say goodbye after my visit.
A typical day
I like to come in and check to see if kitty has eaten all their food and had water since you left or since I last visited. I make sure they have used their litter box, too. If needed, I'll refill food and water and scoop the litter box. Once that's out of the way, it's playtime! I make sure to give them lots of pets and scratches and play with their favorite toys. Once kitty has played enough, I say my tearful goodbye to them and leave.

Availability
I work full-time but am only required to be in the office on Wednesdays, and even that is flexible, so I can pretty much catsit whenever. For visits longer than an hour I may bring my laptop to do work while your kitty naps.
