Pet care experience
I have had dogs all my life, had 4 dogs together but have now decided try dog free as retired and care for others instead. Can’t imagine life without dogs. I’m retired so free 24/7. I have no regular weekly commitments and can offer sitting, walking or visits at flexible times and often short notice. I have a hedged and fenced rear garden with lawn. I never leave your pet outside out of my sight. My house is completely pet friendly. I am not house proud, they have freedom to sleep where they want. Little accidents won’t be an issue😉

Bert had a lovely time. I was sent lots of pictures of Bert and maps of his walks which was very reassuring.
Cannot recommend Marina enough. Our golden retriever Rupert has just spent a wonderful 10 nights with her whilst we were abroad and he was very well looked after. Marina was fantastic at keeping us up to date on all their lovely walks out and sending us pictures of him! She took great care of him and we can’t thank her enough. We will definitely rebook and I know Rupert would be very excited for his next visit there.

Dogs are allowed everywhere in the house and gardens. However, I am happy to keep in place any rules you have, like not going on the furniture, sleeping down stairs etc and keeping up any training you do. I am fully insured for walking and boarding. I am a volunteer with the Cinnamon Trust who help the elderly take care of their pets.

It helps to know how your dog (s) are on the lead, if they travel ok in a car ( I have a camper van so if they like the car then we can have trips out) Can they be left home at all - I try not to leave any of my guests but it helps if I need to get food in etc.
A typical day
I can adapt to your dogs routine so it helps them feel more at home. I enjoy long walks if they do. I also enjoy lounging around too! I enjoy teaching them new things too. I have no kids and few visitors so can provide a peaceful environment. I have an apple air tag I attach to their collar if we go out, for extra peace of mind.

I am retired now. I live with my partner who is an NHS Paramedic and loves dogs just as much as I do, though he is usually at work.
