Marin did NOT meet my expectations - if I didn't have cameras, I might think otherwise, because she did check in through the app and she did send me some pictures (but I do have cameras, so I know the truth of what really went on in my absence). During the meet-n-greet, I was under the impression Marin would spend the majority of the weekend with my dog. Out of 61 potential hours she could have been there, she was actually there less than 34 hours...of which she was sleeping at least 24 of them. She did walk the dog as expected, so I'll give her that but didnt wake up until at least 11 on Sat and Sun (when the dog is used to going out by 8am). I was also NOT amused by the late night "visitor" that she had over on Saturday night...My dog is very leary about strangers so I asked for NO VISITORS, so this means the dog was locked up while this unapproved STRANGER was in my home. She lied about the actual time spent at the house (but the video footage doesn't lie) and she made excuses (of which I dont believe). I do not feel I got my money's worth out of this booking. If I wanted my dog to be sad and alone all weekend, I would have taken her with me and left her in the hotel the whole time. I feel I would have gotten better service out of hiring one of my daughters friends to come check in on her, but I chose to hire Marin because I wanted someone to stay overnight at the house with the dog and during the meet-n-greet, she indicated she'd be available to be home most of the day Saturday and Sunday. I'm disappointed in this booking overall and will not plan to book with Marin again in the future.

Marin is wonderful! She stayed with my cat while I went out of town for Christmas. She was very responsive and sent lots of pictures and updates. It was wonderful to have someone who truly loves animals staying with mine. I had such peace of mind. I would definitely hire Marin to stay at my house again and recommend her to anyone looking for someone responsible to watch their fur babies!
