At Paws & Play Dog Camp we offer your dog a unique, beautiful and comfortable place to call home away from home. The fenced camp sits on its own piece of land right next to the house within our large acreage of fenced land. The dogs have their own 4,000 sq. ft outside fenced area with two large runs that each adjoin to the "doghouse", a wonderful, big building .Their special place is doggie decorated complete with two cozy, bedrooms that house kennels and/or real beds, big pallets on the floor, whatever they prefer. There is also a large greeting room to welcome our guests and let them get familiar with the surroundings. One room has a ramp for access in and out and the other room has a large doggie door. The dogs are really spoiled here!! In the two "bedrooms" there is music or nature sounds playing in the background and of course soft lighting! Your dog can have great playtime outside, either alone or with another dog or two, by your choice. The two large runs offer plenty of space and free time for each guest, in that we are limiting these "resort like" spaces. We have an on-call vet close by the and we are licensed with the Dept of Agriculture for boarding in the State of Missouri. In some situations, dogs are welcomed inside the human home as well! We promise to treat your dog as if it were our own and provide it with a loving, fun, clean and safe environment! It is really an incredible and unique place that you and your dog will love!! There are three adults on the property (Marilyn, Cori and Julie) that will watch over your dog, each with several years of dog ownership, work in retail pet stores and/or volunteering at shelters. This combination is a great team. As an added note, the rate reflects a 24 hour period. In instances where you may need to go past the 24 hours, additional charges may be applied. It is best to know approximately what time drop off and pickup will be so that we can give you a custom quote. It is also necessary that you have submitted to us a copy of all current vaccinations including Bordetella. We hope to be able to watch you dog for your boarding needs!
