Pet care experience
I love dogs! I have never lived a day without one. In fact, we typically had 4+ dogs at home at any given time. From newborns to seniors, rescued strays to show dogs, 10lbs to 100lbs, you name it! I have a lifetime of experience caring for all kinds of furry friends and would be honored to care for yours as my own. I live in the UES where there’s plenty of calm streets to roam, a beautiful riverwalk to explore, and plenty of green space and dog parks to play in. Trust me, your pup will be in the best hands, they won't want to leave! I have my own pup, Jeda, who is the epitome of calm and collected. She gets along with everyone and spends 99% of her time dozing away. She’ll unintentionally become your pet’s emotional support animal.

Mariluz is wonderful! She sent cute and helpful updates everyday so we knew our pup was being well taken care of. When it was time to pick up our dog, she kept looking back at Mariluz clearly wanting her to come along. 10/10 would recommend.
Mariluz was a fantastic sitter for our pup Moony during our 9 day vacation, and we will definitely be booking her again soon! She sent daily pictures and updates which we really enjoyed and her dog Jeda was great company for Moony. She was also very flexible with drop off and pick up which we really appreciated. Overall, an excellent experience and we would highly recommend Mariluz as a dog sitter.
Mariluz sent pictures throughout the day keeping us updated, which I really appreciated. She was all around easy to communicate with and flexible with pickup and drop off. This was the first time Cooper stayed over at a dog sitter’s place, so I was worried that he might have been anxious, but he looked happy and relaxed when we picked him up. Would happily use Mariluz again.

Because my dog is really chill, dogs with a similar demeanor are usually our best matches. It would be helpful to know what your dog's personality is like, especially around other dogs. Additionally, my work days are usually busy, so if your furry-friend can't be left alone for 4-6 hours at a time, I won't be able to accommodate them during the week. Please let me know what your dog's care needs are to make sure these can be met.
A typical day
Your pup will wake up from a full nights sleep ready for the day! I will follow your dog's typical routine to the T, making sure they are as comfortable as possible during their stay. Walks in our neighborhood are super relaxing with minimal foot and car traffic, wide sidewalks, and quiet neighborhoods to explore. Similarly, my building is quiet and dog-friendly, so your fur-baby is guaranteed a relaxing staycation!

I work away from home full time M-F, so I can offer your fur-baby a morning, afternoon, and evening walk on week days. They will have my full attention mornings and evenings, and will be chilling with my dog Jeda during the day. On weekends, I am flexible and can dedicate as much of my time to your pet as necessary.
