I grew up on a farm and have lived with and cared for animals most of my life. I know that animals can be one's best friend and their well-being is always a worry while away. Acknowledging that for them there is definitely no place like home with the people they love and trust, I do my best to make them feel welcome and cared for with play, walks (as frequent as they like), loooong conversations, and pets (if they enjoy them)! I have a cat, Molly, who is friendly with other animals as long as she doesn't feel threatened. I live in a spacious apartment with a fenced patio. There is plenty of space for running around in the living room or sunbathing and napping on the patio. You will, of course, receive plenty of updates with pictures if you would like to know what they are up to when you are away.
