Pet care experience
I’ve been an animal lover all my life! I grew up around dogs and cats and other domestic and farm animals and always had a deep love for these creatures. I started pet sitting and house sitting at 15 years old, and once I turned 18 and had my own place, I rescued my first dog. Since then, I have fostered and rescued over 50 animals. My son and I currently have 2 large rescue dogs, Jinx & Versace (5&6 years old) and are in between rescues. We would love to have the opportunity to love on your fur baby while you’re at work or on vacation and make sure they feel loved and cared for while you are away! All types of dogs and cats welcome!

Marijo was amazing. We are vacationing and needed a last minute sitter due to limited pet access to certain places. She took Willow in with no problem at all and cared for her like she was her own pet. She kept us updated the whole time and sent pictures as well. If we ever visit here again she would be the first place we go! Thank you so much again!
Marijo and her family could not have been more attentive and affectionate with my neurotic coonhound, Lily. They all dealt with her fear of fireworks, separation anxiety, and curiosity about the cats like pros. In other words, Marijo, her husband, and children treated Lily like family. I couldn't ask for anything more.
Marijo was great with our dog! She was very caring and thorough and flexible with our schedule. Highly recommend!

A typical day
We take walks on the beach and at the Bay Oaks Park when near our home. If downtown, we love going to the dog Park next to PETA to let the dogs swim in the river!

Availability
I work from home (we have a 2 story house with a fenced yard- not sure why the app says apartment) and am able to be with your fur baby all day, provide fresh food and water and walks or outside activities continuously throughout the day!
