Pet care experience
I’ve lived with dogs my entire life, adopted and bred, from puppies to adults. I’m unable to have pets in my current apartment and it’s my first time ever living without an animal! I miss them dearly and would be happy to take care of yours. I’m a dog auntie to many friends’ pets and they’ve relied on me for walks, meal time, baths, etc., sometimes for weeks at a time. Heck, my mom still flies me back across the country to MA (where I’m from) to watch our own dogs while she’s on vacation!

This was my first time using Rover. Of course I was nervous about having someone watch my dogs as my dogs are my kids. Mariesa eased my worries. She sent me pictures and videos my pups. She stayed in communication with anything going on at the house and My dogs absolutely loved her. I’ve already told Mariesa I will be using her again as I felt super comfortable having her stay in my house to watch my dogs while away for a full week in another country for a vacation
Mariesa was available to walk my sweet pup last minute. She followed my instructions perfectly. I really appreciate that she genuinely seems to enjoy stopping by to care for my dog. It’s not just a chore or a job. I will book in the future. Highly recommend!
Mariesa truly is family to my pets. My dog Tonks loves to pop into her zoom meetings to say hello and beg for midnight snacks. Even my shy and skittish kitty loves to snuggle up with her every chance she gets :)
Mariesa has frequently been my go to person who has helped take care of my high energy, anxious, Australian Shepherd whenever I am away. Whenever she’s with her, I have such peace of mind knowing my pup is being loved as if I were home with her myself. She will always take her on walks and keep her little mind active to help ease her separation anxiety from us. I definitely highly recommend Mariesa as a River pet caregiver!

I cannot host at my home, but happy to comply with wishes of family while in theirs! My family has always had a laundry list of pet care instructions, as every pet requires! They’re all quirky in their own way and I’m happy to comply with your requests. We crate trained all our dogs, so I do have experience with that.

Availability
I work from home and can be very flexible with my work day. Free early mornings, evenings & weekends. I do travel a bit for work during some parts of the year, but I know those dates well in advance and can work around them.
