I have grown up with and feel comfortable with dogs of all sizes. Lucy is my dog, and together we enjoy hikes, snowshoeing, trail runs, and dips in the ocean, but we also emphasize individual attention. Therefore, when I care for your dog, it will be a solo mission (unless you have multiple dogs). All my attention will be devoted to providing the best care I can deliver, including text, photo/video, and email updates, depending on what you prefer. My dog, Lucy, will be cared for by my family in my absence so I can stay stay overnight in your home when necessary. When I adopted Lucy, she was a shy, skinny street dog but grew into a large, active breed. A few years ago, her energy and endurance inspired me to run a marathon to give her the exercise she needs. In graduate school, several of my friends and I started a co-op to care for each other's pets while we were away, which was a blast and gave Lucy a few playmates. Lucy is older now, so she has slowed down a little, and prefers sleeping in a sunny place to racing through the forest. I can't wait to meet your dog (and you, too).
