I was raised with numerous dog breeds and have volunteered at Humane Societies my whole life. I am comfortable with all breeds and sizes. I live in Windsor Terrace and am not far from Prospect Park, a perfect place to exercise dogs. On beautiful days Ajax and I will walk to Brooklyn Bridge park or Red Hook, making it the perfect distance for an extra long walk. With having a dog of my own, my apartment is filled with an assortment of dog toys to make sure your dog is comfortable and having a wonderful time. I understand how important a dog can be and will take care of your dog like it is my own. They will receive all the attention and love!

In my home I make sure it is pet friendly and safe. Accessible toys that can be played with under my supervision, same goes for mental stimulation games. All walks and exercise activities I remain diligent on not only reading the dog’s body language for what they need but other dog’s body language as well that I may encounter out and about. Remaining aware of these can help ensure all dogs are safe and feel they can trust whoever is handling them to keep them safe.

It’s important to know each dog’s quirks, their training level, leash comfort ability, energy levels and socialization level. These help me best prepare to take care of each dog and make sure I give them what they need, even on a short little walk.
A typical day
Living near prospect park is ideal for fun walks or even runs with dogs. I try to switch up routes to keep them stimulated and engaged as well as understanding if the dog needs a less trafficked area. I also enjoy walking closer to the cemetery for those situations if the dog is more high stressed and needs a break from the park.
