Pet care experience
I’ve been doing Rover for a few years now, and I absolutely love cats and dogs. I’ve never owned pets of my own, because my mother has never been able to afford it. Before starting in Rover, my limited animal experience came from when I visited my dads home is Central America. He has 2 dogs, puppies, a cat, kittens, and even chickens. When I would visit I would love taking care of his cats and dogs. My little brother absolutely loves dogs (especially pugs), so pretty much everyone in my family loves animals. I’m 21 years old, but also a Sophomore in college, and I think this is a great experience for me. I really enjoy my time on Rover and meeting new cats and dogs!!

I can’t do any boarding since we rent and they don’t allow animals. When doing house sits, drop ins, or walks I try to be consistent but everything pretty much varies depending on the person/animal.
Information Mariela V. would like to know about your pet
Any shape and size is welcomed! But it would be helpful to know if they are good with other people and dogs. Do they do anything that could be worrisome to someone who isn’t aware. For example, throwing up if they drink water too fast; things like that!
A typical day
We would pretty much just go on walks and then relax. And if there is anything that they are use to doing you can let me know and I’ll try to be consistent!

Availability
I work part time at Starbucks, so my schedule is never really the same. By Thursday I know what my schedule for the next week (Sun-Sat) will be like. I usually don’t work more than 8 hours and sometimes it can be a little as 4 hours.
