Pet care experience
I’m a huge dog lover with 7 years experience of professionally caring for dogs and cats (walking, feeding, bathing, cuddling, etc). I am in school to become a veterinarian! I’ve grown up with pets my whole life and absolutely love animals! I started Rover when I didn’t have any pets and now I have 3 of my own, a dog and two cats. I am able to board pets who get along well with other dogs and cats. I will have to be selective to make sure that it will be a pleasant experience for everyone, and I am sure that if your baby checks that box, I can give them 5 star care! I’ll win over your pup’s heart with fun, care, and treats (and we’ll figure something out if they are on a special diet). I hope to work with you and your babies :)

Mariela is a wonderful dog sitter!! She let me book her at the very last minute and accommodated Gracie’s every need. Gracie just loves her. I love getting the updates and adorable photos of my dog while we are away! I will definitely book with her again!
Mariela is honestly the best. She is so great with my elderly toy poodle Diamond. I know she is always well taken care of and seems so happy in the daily photos. Thank you again Mariela!
I’m so happy we found Mariela for dog sitting! She took great care if Gracie!. I have never used a sitter before so I was pleased that when we came home she was happy to see us, but not stressed at all. I would highly recommend her and I will be booking another stay soon!
Rocky says the best part about going to Mariela's house (besides getting lots of love) is investigating the huge, fenced yard for squirrels and the long walks off property. Oh, and the cute resident pups Sassy and Taco look up to him. :-)

A typical day
I normally take the dogs on a walk once day. I will play with them and their toys if they like to play or just give them pampering through cuddles if they prefer that. We can do light training and lick mats for enrichment too if their parents allow.
