From growing up without pets as my mother was afraid to running a dog rescue and fostering over 35 dogs in 3 years! I have experience working with and training mostly "Northern mutts" (although I also love taking in power breeds!) from having no training at all to special needs such as leash reactivity, food guarding, anxious behaviour, dogs needing proper introductions, stranger danger, and basic obedience. I welcome all ages, having whelped puppies to caring for tired seniors, and am comfortable giving medication if needed. :) I love working with owners & their dogs to develop them into being the best they can be! Part of that includes giving mental exercise as well as physical exercise. I walk dogs twice per day for an hour each walk, and feed dogs through training to brush up on their obedience or teach them new tricks! Pet boarding takes place in my spacious home with my 2 pups. I am a strong advocate for new dogs, and give them space from my own dogs if they aren't comfortable socializing, and their own space to play with their toys. I live in a detached house, and although my yard isn't fenced, I have a 50' tie out for dogs to play in the private yard. I would love to meet you and your pup(s)!
