I love dogs. I currently have a 2 year old Lab Golden cross named Beau (he is neutered). Beau loves to have friends over to hang out and play with! We boarded a friend's dog a couple of times and Beau was so much happier with a friend around, that I figured - why not offer this as a service?! I'm not able to get a second dog myself at the moment so dogsitting seems the next best option.

Perfection for our doggies vacation ! Marieke and Beau were fantastic hosts for our boy and we received lots of daily texts and photos of their time together. Very highly recommended and we will book again when we go away again next time.

Your dog would need to be sociable and easygoing around other dogs, or at the very least get along with my dog. For first time clients I do a meet and greet before agreeing to board. I have 12+ years of experience with dogs, from training puppies to caring for senior dogs and dogs with special needs. I can also apply medications (eye cream, ear drops, tablets,...).

I would love to hear about your dog's daily routine, particularly feeding and walking, as well as any medical issues that I should be aware of.
A typical day
I live a 5 min walk away from a huge green space where we go at least once a day for a big walk. On the weekends we often go for a ride to go for a walk in the countryside! (I never let dogs off lead unless recall is in place and I have the explicit permission from the dog's owner.)

Availability
I work from home for the most part and never leave any dog alone for longer than 3h. I walk my own dog 3-4 times a day, and can provide an alternative walking schedule adjusted to your dog's needs. I also have a fully fenced garden where the dogs can play or hang out. (No dog is ever left unsupervised outside.)
