~ My Background ~ Heyo! Emm here. I'm a pet owner, lover and sitter, and forever cat lady in the making. I've had furry and not so furry companions my whole life, and might as well be a pet whisperer. While my experience with animals spans a decade, I've pet sit for only two-ish years. But, having raised all sorts of critters from guineas to fish to snails (yes, snails) and two very unique and sassy cats, I’m confident in my ability to nurture, connect with, and ferociously love all pets, regardless of species, personality and background. It appears I have a way with animals. I can't remember on how many occasions an owner, generally a complete stranger, has gawked at me flabbergasted as their “They don't like ANYBODY!" furry friend plops down on my lap, affectionate and quite at their leisure. From the get-go, I do my very best to establish a mutual respect with your fuzzy loved one. In maintaining a calm, relaxed atmosphere and letting them approach me only once comfortable, I let them know I mean no harm, and am there only to love the crap out of them. Only if, of course, they so desire :) ~ Caring for your Pet & Home ~ I'm primarily looking to cat sit, but can provide exquisite care for your dog(s) as well. At the moment, I am unable to stay the night with your furry love, but am more than willing to make multiple visits throughout the day, multiple days a week, to feed, play, clean and otherwise hang out with your baby! I'll also make it a point during each visit to survey the house and ensure all is safe and in order. No window or door will be left unsecured. I know how much I worry when I'm away from home, so I'll make sure to care for your lovely abode as well as I care for your pets! ~ Scheduling ~ I'm currently available 7 days a week, Monday through Monday, and will spend no less than 1 hour with your pet during each visit.
