Pet care experience
i really enjoy taking care of animals. i have two of my own, both black cats who i love dearly, and friends who have dogs of all shapes & sizes who are so much fun to play with and walk. i have more personal experience with cats, because of my own, but even though i’ve never personally owned a dog, i have house sat & dog watched for a few weeks at a time, and i am confident in my experience level. i’d love to get to know your pet and see if we’d be a good match to work (and play) together!

Marie always takes the best care of my 60 lb golden shepherd. I travel a lot for work, and I can always count on Marie while I’m gone. She loves and cares for him just as if he was her own pet! She is so wonderful that I recommended her to my mom, who has her come over to take care of her two small dogs when she goes on vacation. I feel at ease knowing she takes the best care of my dog and house for me when I’m not around. Marie is so sweet and kind, I would recommend her to anyone.

I have know Marie for over 5 years. When me and my wife would go on vacation or out of the country, Marie has always been there to take great care of our fur baby. We have a 6 year old male pit bull with a bold and vibrant personality. Marie has known Bean since he was a puppy. She has taken care of bean for a quick weekend trip to going to the beach for a whole week. Even going to Peru for a month this past June. She plays with him, walks him, snuggles and gives him so much love. She is a great person with a lovely personality that goes great with animals. Bean is so calm around her when she is with him. She would be a great asset to the Rover team.
Marie has watched my (now) senior MinPin Harley for about 5 years. I’ve felt safe and confident about having her in our home with our dog and she’s truly provided great care all around. Harley is never stressed when she arrives and I know I can actually relax on my trips because he’s going to be looked out for so well. Even though he’s older he’s still active and she takes him for multiple short walk and engages in playtime and conversations. Sunlit naps are respected and when he asks to be carried around like a baby she’d always oblige.

I am not currently offering pet boarding in my own home, but I am more than willing to spend time with your pet in their own home, so that he or she is in their most comfortable environment. I am very confident in my ability to follow a detailed schedule, and to deal with any difficulties, should they arise. I prefer to have an emergency contact available, in case anything were to happen, but as long as i understand your pet’s specific needs beforehand, and the meet-and-greet goes well, i’m sure everything will be great! if you have any questions or concerns, please feel free to let me know, and i will always respond as soon as i can. i looks forward to working with you:)

before i can take care of your pet, i need to know any special needs, diet restrictions, special habits or routines, & fears or anxieties he or she may have. id also like to talk about what kinds of things you do to help them calm down if they get anxious or over excited.
A typical day
i am very good at playing tug of war, & am patient on walks if your dog is especially curious and likes to stop & smell every single thing we pass. i’d love to play fetch or throw a frisbee if there’s open space (but my aim is not super good haha). please let me know what activities your animal likes best!

Availability
i currently have a very open schedule, & am able to work remotely from my laptop, so i am available to stay at your home with your pet overnight or though the day, or to take breaks from work & walk or feed or spend time with your pet almost at any time. if you’d like to schedule a service with me, and your pet has any kind of special needs or specific schedules i will need to do, just let me know! i am able to take specific days off work altogether depending on their needs and how far in advance you book.
