I have been with dogs all my life. The way in which they have been in my life has evolved beginning with my absolute adoration, fascination, and finally a deep attunement. The work I have done to have dogs fully integrated in my life has included a lot of reading and research, included taking them to obedience training, during which I realized these courses are primarily designed to teach a person how to effectively interact with dogs, and finally exercising my devotion by carefully observation of all of their interactions and reactions to the world around them. My strength as a dog walker lies in my ability to tune in and connect with them, and to be empathetic to what they are experiencing, as well as where their boundaries are and what their needs are. I am able to step into the role of a gentle leader who can guide situations that keep them safe and contained, with gentle but clear boundaries. This allows them to release their playful, zany, most relaxed, and completely unique selves. I am transitioning to having this most passionate part of my life fill my days and I hope to see your dog along the way.
