Teacher/Mom/Farm Girl/Animal Lover

Pet care experience

I have been drawn to animals of all kinds since I was a young child. I was raised with pets and farm animals and have continued to care for a variety of them throughout adulthood. I was a 4-H leader and assistance superintendent for about five years. I have experience with most types of household pets and farm animals and can provide farm chore services as well!

Marie has taken care of our animals (3dogs, 10cats, horses & a donkey. She knows animals & is comfortable w them so she knows the signs if something is off bc she has tons on animals(2 & 4 legged) herself. I have even called her to help me in emergency situations w my animals when I knew the vet was too far away. I trust her with all my animals any time!

I live on a farm on a dead-end road. My animals have an acreage to enjoy. They LIVE IT UP! When I care for pets in your home or on your farm, I am happy to send you text/photo/video updates of your happy and well-cared for furry (or feathered, scaled, hairless) family members so that you will feel completely comfortable while you are away. You can relax and be comfortable knowing that your animals will be loved and tended to - even when you can't be there. I am also happy to care for plants and gardens in your absence.

Information Marie P. would like to know about your pet

-does the dog have any special needs -how does the dog respond to other unfamiliar dogs on and/or off-leash -does the dog have any special routines or familiar words to use for going potty -is the dog allowed to have any treats for training/rewards purposes and if so, what kind -does the dog show any signs of aggression -does the dog have any triggers and/or extreme fears -are there any locations the dog is not allowed to go.

A typical day

I love to take dogs out on the local walking paths around town. Dog parks in the area are also super fun. When the weather is not as pleasant, we can head for one of the local dog friendly stores in the area.
