Pet care experience

Follow us on Instagram for updates on your pup's stay, fun pics from other client's visits, and recommendations on doggie products and services! @TembersRover Hello! My beloved fur-baby, Tember, and I would like to welcome your dog into our home. We understand the difficulty in choosing someone to care for your pet, and promise to help make the decision as easy and worry-free as possible for you. I'm open to home visits, pet meet-and-greets, phone interviews, and anything else you can think up. Additionally, throughout your pet's visit, I promise to provide you with text/photo/video updates, whichever method and however often you would prefer. My Dog Experience: Crate Training Loose-Leash Training (good for dogs who pull) Obedience Training Mild Aggression Training Experience with MANY kinds of training collars, leashes, harnesses, leaders, etc. Experience giving medication (oral, ear, eye, skin, and syringe injections) Experience with Old Dogs Experience with Puppies Experience with Big and Little Dogs Experience with Seizures Dog Parks Please ask me about any of the above! A little information about me: I am a 27 year old law student, responsible dog parent, involved member of the community, and all-around fun gal. Through my life, I've owned 2 dogs, 4 cats, 3 snakes, 1 rabbit, 1 iguana, and countless numbers of lizards, geckos, frogs, chameleons, and fish. I am a MAJOR animal advocate and currently a volunteer with BARCS as a volunteer trainer, dog-walking and enrichment staff member, and event staff. I am additionally a member of the child mentoring program at Catholic Charities, and the President of the University of Baltimore Women's Bar Association. I've previously worked on a free-range organic poultry farm, caring for all ages of chickens, turkeys, and even sometimes, goats. I LOVE all types of animals, and will do anything in my power to make sure they are taken care of properly and comfortably. A little information about Tember: Tember is a mutt that I got from BARCS about 4 years ago. She is pretty lazy around humans, but loves to play when with other dogs. She's some-what timid, but opens up pretty quickly. A little information about my home: I live in a one bedroom apartment (approx: 800 sqft) with my pup. For a one bedroom apartment, our place is very comfortable and decently spacious. We live immediately across the street from a park where we frequently walk any animals in our care. We have hosted up to 4 dogs in our home previously, and are willing to continue to do so. Dogs will not just be safe in our home, but with fall right into ease and relaxation! Please reach out if you have any questions or concerns.

Thanks for taking care of the little squirt, especially with the mini health issue!

Marie was amazing! I have never left Danny overnight with anyone and was very nervous how he would react due to the fact that he is a "fearful" dog. Marie reassured me that he would be fine in her care and went even further to update me daily during my two weeks away with pictures. She was always very responsive which allowed me to enjoy my vacation knowing Danny was being well cared for. Thank you, Marie! You are the best!

Whatever you prefer! I can send you pictures every few hours and update you by call or text, or I can let you enjoy your time away with only a few updates and calls if something is wrong. You tell me what you like and I will make it happen. The 4-8 hours I've indicated in my profile is just based on my normal routine, and would be much closer to 5-6 hours at most. I go to school and work very close to home, so I can (and do!) come home multiple times during the day if your dog needs frequent outs. Additionally, we live in a great part of Mt Vernon where I can take your dog on long safe walks to multiple grassy areas or the Inner Harbor! Additionally, we live just a short drive from the Patterson Park Dog Park and the Locust Point Dog Park. So, request a visit to the dog park at no additional cost to you! Your dog will be like our family member and will get my utmost attention, just like my own little pup, Tember, and like all the dogs I volunteer with at BARCS.
