Pet care experience
I have been a dog owner for 20+ years and my husband for 30+ years. Our kids have grown up with dogs and love them too! Our entire family would love to take care of your dog in our home and make him or her feel warm, welcome, and loved. We are an active family and love to play with dogs, especially fetch. We live in a great neighborhood for walks and love to take dogs on walks. We also enjoy snuggling with dogs of all kinds. I am home full-time Thur-Sun to care for your dog while you are at work or away. We are also able to take dogs for overnight sitting Mon-Wed, but I work 7-4 those days. We use Rover sitters for our dog when we are out of town and we promise to provide the same loving care to your dog that our dog has received. We would love to help care for your dog in our home and make your dog feel at home here!

Marie did a terrific job sitting and caring for our dog. She sent pictures and updates of how he was doing while we were gone, and was super responsive and easy to communicate with. Our dog was happy and looked great when we came to pick him up. I would definitely recommend Marie and use her services again for our dog!

I would like to know their usual schedule (eating, sleeping, walks, potty breaks, treats, snuggle time, etc.) so that I can follow their schedule and make them feel as comfortable and at home as possible.
A typical day
We love to take walks around our neighborhood in South Minneapolis, including through parks, along the Minnehaha Creek, and around Lake Harriet if the dogs enjoy seeing the other people and dogs. We also love to spend time in our backyard when the weather permits. Our yard is partially fenced, so we use tethers and leashes to keep the dogs safe. We are also able to provide plenty of indoor space for the dogs when the weather is bad as our entire second floor is open. We also love to bring the dogs upstairs to give them time to run around, play fetch, and let out some energy. This is also a nice space for dogs who prefer not to be outside, but want some time to run around and let loose.
