Dog vacay while you’re away!
Pet care experience
I'm an animal loving house wife who shares a home with 2 dogs and a fenced yard with a large chicken coop. (When dogs come to visit we keep them locked up in their coop). I'm also hard of hearing and because of this I tend to be more in tune to animals feelings. and needs. I currently have 2 dogs of my own (3 year old aussie shepherds). I was raised with dogs and have had at least one dog most of my life. I also do plan on eventually getting another. My home does have two dog gates installed on the deck and small a doggy-door that goes into an outdoor-enclosed area, we are a very dog friendly home.

Marie was MORE than accommodating and willing to be flexible about all the changes I needed to make. Marie was kind and awesome with Trixie!!! Trixie came home happy and tired and clearly well loved!!! Bottom line, Marie was wonderful!!!!

Marie is, hands down, the best caretaker. Her love for animals flourishes. I have a dog, and she loves Marie, loves being at her place. Marie pays attention to pets’ needs, behaviors, and moods and knows exactly how to work with them. She’s a wonderful companion. Best of all, she’s very responsible and detail oriented, and maintains her priorities to make sure the animals are warm, safe, and full! She is my go to person when I need a sitter for Ella!
Marie is very good with pets. Marie is also very dependable, self reliant, and trustworthy. She has actually taught my doggie irie some tricks when i was not able to teach her. She is very caring and persistent. Marie is a huge animal lover and activist as well. Pick Marie for all your pet needs!

I like to follow a daily routine because it creates some stability. Potty time and walk around in yard in mornings between 7-9am, Breakfast at 9am, hang out til daily walk at 2pm then dinner time between 4-5pm. (depending on what dogs needs are)

I like to know if a dog is nice to other dogs and if it has any special needs that I should be aware of. Also it's helpful to know what your preference is on general behavior so I can be consistent with your rules for your pet. Things like: "are they allowed on the couch?", "where do they generally sleep?" and "what's their favorite toy" are all helpful to know. With the dog's sleeping arrangement, it all depends on the owner's preference. I do have a dog bed available, If they are a snuggle bug ill let him/her in bed w me ;) Personally I would allow dogs on couch/bed but if the owner has preference of training the dog not to that is fine with me.
A typical day
I enjoy walking and hiking usually between 30 and 60 minutes (depending on the weather) and live in a nice wooded neighborhood which is within walking distance to a park.

Availability
I work from home part time. That gives me a lot of free time. I go on daily walks at vareity trails such as osprey park, al borlin park, susie trail, and mossy knob and more.
