Pet care experience
Hello all! I'm a dog/animal/child and all around humankind lover who would love to help take care of your pooch while you are away for business or for some R&R. I've been a pet owner for many years and just like to shower my animals with love and attention! I'm a grad student at Northeastern and live in JP, so I'm constantly back and forth on the Orange line and the Southwest Corridor. So, it would be super convenient if you lived around this area. I love getting my exercise, so if you have a pooch who loves long, brisk walks -- I'm your gal. Why I love dog sitting I've always been a dog lover, I didn't grow up with pets because I lived in an apartment that didn't allow any growing up. But, I have had a cat (and kittens!) for the past 5 years and would love to get a dog one day, but I want to make sure I'm set up properly to take care of a pooch and have enough space for them and all of that good stuff before I commit. Which is part of the reason I'm signing up for rover, to get some good experience before I jump into dog ownership since I know what a big commitment it is. My experience administering medication Yes, if I am given proper instruction.

Marie was quick to respond to my inquiry, and was flexible to what I needed. All instructions were followed and I got a photo of my cat mid trip - I am super busy so it was nice to have someone who was responsive and easy.
I can't say enough good things about Marie-Frances. I felt really secure that my old dog and my frisky young cat were in capable loving hands with her. Marie-Frances has a wonderful way about her- with people as well as pets. She kept in touch with me while I was away, arranged to get meds when the ones I left for my dog ran out, and sent pictures of my pets to me. She stayed at my home and left it in perfect shape. A typical day
Time I'll spend with your dog All depends on what you feel comfortable with, I consult part-time, so I do need to be in the office doing work about 20 hours a week. But, it's fairly flexible. Also, I'll be done with school at the end of April 2015, so I will have a lot more flexibility during the summer months. Extra house-sitting services Sure, a fee can be negotiated if it's anything that involves additional time and effort.
