Pet care experience
My husband, Brandon, and I are avid dog lovers! We have two large dogs of our own, a Chesapeake Bay Retriever and a Chesador. We have been dog-sitting and boarding on Rover for 2 years now and absolutely love it! We are both educators who use this side gig for our cruise money during the summer! Our pups love the company and the play time so it's a win-win! We'd love to keep your pup(s) anytime!

I will say the sitter and her husband were very nice people. However their home and backyard were not safe for pets. Our dog escaped through a hold in their backyard and since they live in the middle of the country side, there were miles and miles of pasture land that we had to drive around for hours looking for our dog. It was one of the most nerve-wrecking experiences of my life—not knowing if we would find our dog before the sun set and coyotes got her. Obviously we will never be using Rover again. I do understand it was an accident, but it’s important that your backyard doesn’t have holes in the fence if you are going to board other people’s dogs.
Very loving and caring for our dogs. This is the second time she’s watched our baby and was open to our addition fur baby we just got too. Her and her husband are the nicest people.
Marie and her husband took good care of my dog and were flexible when our travel plans changed last minute.
A lovely home and area for the dogs to run and play. The couple have a love for animals! They were very accommodating to my needs and the two dogs needs. She sent pictures while I was gone of them having a good time playing. I would definitely recommend Marie and her husband for boarding your precious dogs. The pups will be in good hands!

Availability
We are both educators and have a set schedule, which makes it very easy for us to care for our own dogs, plus any others that are staying with us! We are also flexible, as far as doing drop-in visits, walks and housesitting.
