Pup, Pup, Hooray!
Pet care experience
I’ve been petsitting on and off since middle school, on a more regular basis since I moved to NC 13yrs ago. I love finding things on Pinterest to make the animals I watch homemade treats, and small toys to play with. I keep a small stash of toys and treats in my apartment in case the pups I watch don’t have any with them when they get dropped off. If the dogs are up for it I enjoy taking them on runs instead of walks, I’ve even been known to dress them up for themed 5ks with me. I like staying active and enjoy having pups with me, they make for good company when I’m out and when it’s time to relax. If there’s time I like to even get out my SLR camera and take some nice pics of the pups for their owners. I finally got a dog of my own a few months ago, Ivy, she’s a Pit mix that I adopted from a rescue shelter. She’s my soulmutt, I’ve loved having her with me these last few months. Currently I’m working overnights W-Sat, or Th-Sat on a rotating schedule at an Amazon warehouse. I work 6pm-5:30am.

I highly recommend Marie for all of your dog sitting needs! A couple of weeks before going on vacation, my sweet dog Darby ran after a cat and proceeded to tear her ACL; fortunately the cat got away but Darby required surgery and several weeks of medication and physical therapy. I was unable to board her in this condition so Marie came to my rescue! After going over Darby's medication schedule and daily PT exercises with Marie, she assured me that she would take great care of Darby. I felt very comfortable leaving Darby in her care and Marie texted me updates and photos - my sweet girl always looked so happy. Marie eased my anxiety which allowed me to have a wonderful vacation. Marie has cared for Darby on several other occasions and Darby gets so excited when she gets to spend time with Marie. So if you're looking for someone who has experience caring for dogs with medical needs and truly cares for animals like they are her own, I highly recommend Marie!

Marie has taken care of my two babies (old English sheep dog and pit) for the past 3 years. She is reliable and responsible. I know while I am away, my dogs will get the attention and love they need and deserve. She goes above and beyond feeding and walking them. She makes them homemade treats and spends quality time at my house! When she is there I know they are well taken care of which gives me peace of mind while I am away.
Marie is the absolute best dog sitter for my Fini. No other sitter loves on my girl the way Marie does. Marie makes sure that Fini has her medications as needed and takes her out for exercise. I never worry when my Fini is with Marie. Marie has been a blessing to us.

There’s a nice long loop around my apartment I like to use, play fetch on the tennis courts right next to my place, on occasion take them to different dog parks/dog friendly places around town.
