Home away from Home Loves Included!

Pet care experience

Hello, my name is Dayna I’m a mom to both the 2 legged and 4 legged varieties. My teen loves to help take care of our guests. We want your pet to get the real home and family feel when they are with us so like our own babies they will have the run of the house and are allowed on the furniture though we also offer crates if they like to sleep in them or have time to themselves. We do not allow table scraps or rawhide. I have a white GSP mix and three cats at home and have worked for animal shelters including adoption counselor and fostering for over 10 years and have had pets my entire life with experience from puppies to seniors with the extra care that goes with both. We are located a mile from downtown Glen Ellyn less than 5 minutes from 2 different parks including a fenced-in a dog park (ask me for details if you would like your pup to play at the dog park) I work with fur, scales, feathers, and hooves including stable/farm animals, everything from horses on down and offer basic grooming options: Bath, brush, trim, and nails for an additional fee We do check-ins (including photos) with you to let you know how your pet has been doing this can be done daily or less depending on how you would like. Our goal is that your pet receives the same love and care that they would from you and for you to feel comfortable knowing they will be loved and well taken care of while in our care. Drop off starts at 7 am and pick up up until 8 pm. Rabies, Distemper, Bordetella are required vaccinations. Please provide proof of current vaccinations and/or the contact information and authorization to speak to your vet if needed.

I should probably say something evil- just to assure I can book Dana any time I need. But I can’t. She’s awesome. Rascal adores her- to the point of looking out the window expecting her visit.

A typical day

We enjoy walks long or short depending on what the dog likes going to dog parks if your dog has a license to a local dog park or you would like to obtain a visitor's pass. We also like to play with them whether fetch or tug of war or whichever games they enjoy or they just want to be a cuddle bug. When there are weather extremes such as high and/or low temps we visit Petsmart or other pet-friendly locations to let them stretch their legs.
