Pet care experience
I am a warm, welcoming southern woman who found herself in the PNW. I love animals as much as I love being active. Growing up on a farm, I have been surrounded by animals my whole life and have a special place in my heart for dogs and cats. I have experience caring for both dogs and cats from the time they are kittens/puppies all the way up to their dignified elder years. Thanks to my years of experience, I am willing and able to make any medical or behavioral accommodations your furry best friend may need. If trusted with your pet, I will treat them with the same love and care I have given my own pets over the years. I love to run, walk, and hike, and would love to take your dog with me if they have energy and need additional exercise. If you have any questions at all please let me know! I am very reliable and know that it can be very hard to leave your fur baby. As such, I will always make sure to help you stay connected with your little one with frequent updates on pet's well-being while they are under my care (pictures are always included!). I'm looking forward to meeting you and your fur baby soon!

I was so nervous to use rover but now I do not think I can use anyone else! Marie was so responsive and flexible. My dog cannot eat when I’m gone even with close family and the fact that he ate and seemed so comfortable means the world to me. She is so great!

I love all shapes, sizes, and breeds of pets! I also know that, like humans, all pets are unique. They can have different needs and preferences, which can greatly affect their well-being. My goal for your fur baby is to make them as comfortable and happy as possible, so I want to know anything about them that you think would help me achieve this goal. In particular, information about medications that your pet might require, any activity restrictions, and anything about their behavioral/emotional functioning (e.g., any anxieties I should be aware of, any behaviors you have been working on during walks that you would like me to help reinforce). In my book, you can never tell me too much about your little one!
A typical day
I am a huge outdoor person, so I will take your doggo as far as they would like to go on our walks. If you prefer, I am happy to also take them on a job or to play fetch! Any and all outdoor time with your fur baby would be my pleasure :)

Availability
Your fur baby is my priority while you are away. Having the chance to head over and hangout with your furry friend after work is the highlight of my day. Rain or shine I will be there to care for your best friend like they were my own!
