Pet care experience
I’ve been around cats and dogs my whole life, and briefly trained under a licensed behavioral specialist for basic dog training. I also worked at a doggy daycare taking care of pups both on and off the clock, which included regular feedings, medicine (if needed) baths, and playtimes. I always put the comfort of animals first, making sure they’re happy in their space. I’ve been bitten twice but I’m still not shy at making four legged friends!

Edit: I no longer provide house sitting visits. For safety of myself, I will not stay overnight at any residence. While I have offered house sitting services before, and worked around schedules, it’s too much issue with not a lot of beneficial gain on my end. I apologize for the inconvenience. /end edit I don’t recommend taking animals out of their house, as it can disrupt their natural schedule and have them feel displaced, which can lead to misbehaving or even lashing out. However I have no qualms about driving! I would rather your pet be as stress free as possible, so I do not include in home care at my residence. But I will go above and beyond for your dog or cat and ensure quality care based off of their regular schedule; if they need extra snuggles, I can provide that too!

I would like to know if your dog has any special needs beforehand and especially any allergies. Some other things I’d like to know is if they get along with other dogs or not. While I can accommodate special needs and elderly, I’d like to still have written instruction to look back to and ensure quality care.
A typical day
I like to stimulate your dog both physically and mentally. During my watch, I would love to go over any basic commands you’re working towards with your dog while also letting lose and playing with their favorite toy or a fun game of fetch. If there’s one in the area, I like to stop by Starbucks for Pupacinos, and also any pet friendly stores such as Petsmart or even Home Depot. My own dog loves to go to Home Depot and look at the flowers! If it’s terribly rainy I like to take advantage of pet friendly stores to get a little exercise and socializing in without having to be out in the rain.

Availability
As of right now, I’m finishing up my spring semester in school and will have full availability during the summer time. I would do all of my contracted pet care from 8am to 6pm to allow me to care for my own pets. I’m flexible however and will definitely work with you!
