I am flexible and can create a CARE package of duties that works for you & your home -- everything from playing with your pets to watering & cleaning the leaves of your house plants to deadheading outdoor garden pots, to collecting mail, changing the koi pond filter, feeding the wild birds etc... EXPERIENCE: I've personally raised purebred American Eskimo dog, two Miniature Poodles, numerous cats, goats, rabbits, fish etc. Besides working through Rover.com to provide you in-home pet care I most recently worked for a professional breeder of King Charles Cavaliers in her Sacramento, CA. kennel of 19; feeding specific dietary needs of each, basic grooming, cleaning, transporting, distribution of individual medications and playtime. Also in recent years did long term live-in care for two old Labrador Retrievers with daily medication administration. DAILY CARE: Keeping your pets & home safe while you're away, whether short or long term, is my main objective. I work remotely from my PC & phone so have a very flexible schedule for daily drop-in care and overnight house sitting bookings provide me the opportunity to both work and care for your pets with my presence while you're away -- I will be available to take your pets out on a consistent basis. I excel at caring for your home as though it is mine (I am also a host for Air BnB type rentals so I understand about home cleanliness, care and the importance to leave your home as good as, or even better than, when you left!) SPECIAL CARE: I have cared for many pets with special needs and/or senior care which may involve extra cleaning due to incontinence, medication, special diets and high anxiety. YOUR HOME: I accept house sitting assignments in non-smoking homes only with high-speed Internet available and a clean, safe place for me to sleep. I am willing to travel to you (up to 125 miles away) if it is a long-term booking of 7 plus nights – and even longer stays welcome! LET’S MEET: All first time bookings require a Meet & Greet through Rover to make sure all parties (and most importantly all animals) are happy with the arrangement. If you are a distance away at least a Zoom video call is required. I like to get to know you, your family, learn their routine and have you explain what you can expect from me, ask any questions while I'm watching your home and pets. Bonding with your pets, even briefly, prior to your trip often helps them not experience as much separation anxiety (which is at a high after the Pandemic and so many pet parents working from home). SPECIALTY: Senior & Special Needs Dog & Cat Specialist. Pet Reiki helps separation anxiety & pain in senior or special needs pets. PLEASE NOTE: My daily rates include care of your precious pet(s), the security of your home for 24 hours, mail pick up, being on site for deliveries, plant care etc and my time/gas/business expenses & commissions + travel to meet with you in person prior, for key pickup & pre-trip meetings. NOTE: If you cannot book the proper amount of pets through Rover prior to our meet & greet -- I ask that you let me know PRIOR to me showing up at your home as to how many pets and extra jobs you would like me to do! Never fear, you won't scare me off but I'd like to be properly prepared.
