My dog stayed with Marie for a 3 day stint (Friday-Sunday) and also stayed with her for a week on a separate occasion when I had to travel out of state, during Christmas time. Marie did an excellent job caring for my boy. I frequently asked about him and she would send me pictures and let me know how he was doing. He was treated just like her other family pets by the rest of her family (I caught glimpses of him in some of her family Christmas photos on her personal social media page.) I had no issues when adjusting to being back in my home. He would come home content and exhausted (more than likely from playing with her own dogs) and a tired dog makes a happy owner! I was completely satisfied with everything she did and how she conducted herself with the handling and care for my boy. She is my first option whenever I am in need of boarding. I enjoyed how she kept in constant contact with me, sometimes even initiating contact herself. I have used a few boarding kennels here in town and I am not sure what all is going on until I go pick him back up. She was also really flexible with drop-offs and pickups. The biggest thing that I enjoyed is that he was in a family setting while I was away. Other than being taken out to relieve himself and for a brief period of exercise and food, he would spend most of his time in a kennel when I would board him elsewhere and I would feel bad about leaving him. With her, I have no worries as I feel she treats him just like another member of her family. We discussed what he was and was not allowed to do before hand and she was more than willing to enforce my own home behaviors while he stayed with her. It was the best boarding experiences I have had so far and the reason I will go back to her when needed. I have full confidence that you will also enjoy the experience and have peace of mind if/when you decide to use her services.
