Pet care experience
Hello! My name is Marie, I'm 28 years old and have been pet sitting for three years. I lived in Atlanta where I was a sitter full time but recently moved back to my hometown in MA where I hope to continue pet sitting. While in Atlanta I was the office manager for a pet sitting company as well as having my own clients on the side. The pet sitting company I worked for specialized in pets with behavioral issues, so I’ve cared for dogs with all types of temperaments, I’m trained in how to handle myself and make the dog as comfortable as possible. So even if your pup is weary of strangers or has aggression issues id still be happy to get to know them and see if I’d make a good fit!! I am a pit bull owner and advocate so I gladly work with all breeds; no matter what size, age or temperament. In fact, the company I worked with specializes in working with shy and grumpy dogs. I pride myself on being a responsible dog owner and hope to work with people who love their dogs as much as I will love them!

Marie is great! My dogs have really taken to her and she does amazing with them. She’s sweet and caring and knows hot to handle a fiesty Frenchie!
I needed a dog walker super last minute, and Marie was so flexible to work with me! My lab/pit mix can get nervous with new people and is not an easy walker with strangers, but even after only one walk, they seem to be fast friends! Marie is patient with him to make him comfortable and feeling safe to go outside with her. I’ll definitely be asking Marie to walk Hawkeye again!
Marie is a great cat sitter. She gave detailed summaries of her visit (often with amusing anecdotes about our wild cats) which put us at ease when we were so far away. She was diligent and often went above what we asked for. I would/will definitely use her again.
Marie looked after my 3 kittens while I was away for the weekend. She took great care of them and provided detailed updates as well as pictures. Thanks Marie!

I currently have set house sitting away due to the fact that my dog is much older now and has some trouble getting around. We already have another playful dog in the house that takes up all her energy, so I don’t want to stress her out by bringing new dogs around. I apologize for any inconvenience. But I am happy to do custom visits, and if your dog is small enough I am happy to put a baby gate up so they don’t interact. Message me if you’re interested in setting up something custom. As for care at the clients home, I have been trained by one of the successful pet sitting companies in Georgia. I prioritize all your pets needs and make sure the home is exactly as it was when I arrived. I have also been trained on how to administer all types of medications.

All breeds welcome! The only information I would need to know is if there are any allergies or health concerns I should be aware of, and if there is anything in particular they do not like. Also, I'd like to know a little bit about their regular routine so I can try my best to accommodate. If they have any behaviors I should be aware of (darting to the door, difficult walkers, don't like car rides etc) please let me know.
A typical day
A typical day with my dogs would be playing outside in our big backyard, taking walks to the park down the street, and snuggles on the couch. If your dog has any favorite parks/things to do I am happy to bring them out! I have an SUV and can fit a crate in the back, but they’re always welcome to ride up front with me!

Availability
I am in between jobs and would love to start pet sitting again. I haven’t been able to for the past year or so due to working full time, but I am now trying to start my own business, so pet care IS my daily routine. Any dog that I sit for would get my full attention and I would be on call and available everyday.
