Hello everyone! I am a 22 year old recent graduate who is currently working in Reading and living with my partner :) We both absolutely love all types of animals and since we are unable to have one of our own for now, we would be more than happy to take care of your pet as if it was ours! Our jobs have quite flexible hours, therefore we can easily adapt our schedules/lifestyles so that your fury baby always has some company in the house. I have been in the pet sitting business for over 4 years now and I've also had dogs my whole life - currently, I have two dogs back in Portugal (my home country). Unfortunately, I have never had a cat however I have pet sat quite a few so I can definitely be called a pro already 😎

Choosing Mariana as a pet sitter was an absolute game-changer for us. Mariana went the extra mile by making two pre-visit stops to get to know our dog's behavior and needs, giving us peace of mind right from the beginning. During the entire stay, Mariana kept us in the loop with regular updates, complete with delightful pictures and videos. It was so reassuring to see our dog not just well taken care of, but genuinely happy in her care. What sets Mariana apart is not just her reliability but also her attention to detail. She was spot-on with food timings, ensuring our dog's routine remained undisturbed. Moreover, the numerous walks she took him on were a testament to her commitment to his overall well-being. Without hesitation, I wholeheartedly recommend Mariana to anyone in search of a friendly and trustworthy pet sitter. What truly amazed us was returning to a spotless house after our time away. Mariana left it impeccably neat, with not a trace of clutter in sight.
We only used Mariana as a one-off for us as we needed a walk for our dog during the day. She was excellent with her communication, friendly in her manner towards us and the dog, and was thoroughly professional. She was receptive to the specific needs of our dog and was asking questions and ensuring she could do the best possible job for Macy. My wife and I would highly recommend her to anyone, whether as a one off or for regular appointments, she was excellent.

I currently live in a flat and have access to a fenced communal garden where I am happy to take your dog on potty breaks. I also live close to a canal where I can go for long walks with your pet. I hope I can meet your pets soon and give them as much love I can :) *I will kindly ask you to cover my transportation costs (bus/train) if the house is more than 3 miles from mine.

Information Mariana V. would like to know about your pet
As someone who wants to take care of your pet as if it was my own, it is extremely important for me to know if the pet has any special needs or needs to take any medication, what the pet's feeding and walking schedules are, where the pet sleeps and commands it is used to. If it’s an overnight stay I usually encourage a meet and greet beforehand so that we can all get to know each other and have a more detailed conversation about the pet’s preferences :)
A typical day
I am a very active person who loves going for walks, especially with a fluffy friend by my side! I can easily adapt to your pet's feeding and walking schedules and, since I was the one training my own dogs, I am happy to try to teach your dogs some simple tricks. Additionally, I always ensure I keep you updated during my stay by sending you either messages or adorable photos since I know how difficult it is to be apart from them.

Even though I am currently hybrid working with a pretty flexible schedule which allows me to prioritise your pet’s needs as much as I can, I tend to go into the office once a week.
