Hi, my name is Mariana. I live in Mountain View but commute to work across the south peninsula. I work at an organization that works to interrupt the school to prison pipeline by creating interventions for youth ages 14-25; youth who have come in contact with the system in order to prevent incarceration, if at all possible. I have experience pet sitting dogs, cats, and birds as well as working closely with farm animals from chickens to cows. I am comfortable with giving meds to pets. I am communicative and understand the anxiety that being away from your babies brings. I am excited to hear what your needs are and staying in touch through it all.

When I dog sit I make sure to understand the instructions, communicate, and use common sense. If there’s a lot of needs I’ll ask you to write them down. I’m adaptable to the pets’ energy.

What I need from you is to know how high your need for any given instruction is. What you’re not comfortable with and how I can easily reach you. Also, if you have multiple dogs, what the likelihood of a territorial fight is (I’ve had this happen before with ended in stitches for the dogs) so I’d like to come up with a plan before hand.
A typical day
Depending on your specific pet, I can easily adapt to anything from feeding them and letting them be or go on hikes for miles at a time. I also love cuddles and having conversations with the talkative personalities.
