Being with dogs is now my full-time job so I am ready whenever you need someone! I am fluent in Spanish as well. There’s just nothing like meeting a happy dog! I love getting to know each and every one of them, including their individual personalities and characters! It’s too much fun. I love learning about them, because they have so much to teach us. They show us how life should be lived and are always so selfless. I just can’t imagine a life without dogs in it, and that’s why I want to put a smile on each one of their happy faces! I have been around dogs for as long as I can remember! I have a dog named Lizzy, who is a little Yorkshire Terrier. She is friendly with dogs but on her terms. She is 12 years old, so she is a bit defensive but still very sweet. Before I had Lizzy, I was a local dog walker and always helped out with pet sitting duties as well. It was such a great experience, and it inspired me to become a dog sitter professionally! Since then, I’ve received a certificate in dog training and have just been adding to my 11 years of experience! When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat in English or in Spanish whatever is more comfortable for you the owners. In person, we can talk about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. When your pup is under my care, communication is one of my biggest priorities. I do everything I can to make sure that you and your pup feel completely happy and comfortable under my care! I always send tons of updates with accompanying pictures so you can know just how your happy your pup is with me. Likewise, I always keep all my lines of communication open just in case any questions or concerns arise. Ultimately, I’ll treat your pup just as you would back home!
