There’s just nothing that makes me happier than taking care of pups! They are the sweetest creatures on the planet, and they’re always there for you when you need them. They are so selfless and amazing, and it’s really their giving spirit that inspired me to become a sitter in the first place. Being around dogs makes me want to do what I can to give back to them in whatever ways that I could, so being a sitter is a dream come true for me then! The best thing about me as a sitter is that I am a full-time dog lover! I’m able to be around your pup 24/7 and give them all the love they need to thrive. I’ll never crate your dog when they’re with me (unless specifically requested), and they’ll always have to room to run around and be happy! No one likes sticking their pup in a kennel when they leave, so I’m here to make sure that they receive the same love as they’re used to at home. When taking on a new client, I typically like to schedule a meet-and-greet. It’s a great way to make sure that we’re all a good fit for one another, which is so important to me. Likewise, it gives us the opportunity to chat face-to-face about your pup and your care expectations. No one knows your dog better than you do, so it’s always great to chat with owners in person about what makes their pup tick! Finally, I just love meeting new dogs! I like to get down on their level to show them that I’m a welcome presence here to make friends, and I’m sure we’ll be best buddies in no time at all. I believe that communication is the foundation for a great stay! Even before the stay begins, I like to get as much information from you as possible related to your pup’s needs and your own care expectations. That way, I can start designing the dream stay for your pooch! When your pup is under my care, I’ll always send detailed daily updates with as much information as you need. I’m happy taking notes on anything from meal prep to exercise times. And, of course, there will always be plenty of accompanying pictures so you can see just how much fun we’re having!
