We live in a very dog friendly community where owners walking their dogs is a very common sight. After many years of sharing our home with our dog and cat friends, we are currently choosing to live pet free and pursue traveling for extended periods. Our home has wood floors but this doesn't seen to be a problem for the dogs we have had. Our home is very pet friendly and we enjoy what the pets bring to our home - companionship, activity and fun. We enjoy walking our dogs and visiting others along the way. Typically, we would have three nice walks a day with additional opportunities for short trips outside as needed. A trip to a local park for a change of scene would be fon for all of us. In addition to our own special dogs we have fostered 50+ dogs and found great homes for them. Many of our fosters have had medical issues. We also have dog-sat for some of our fosters after they were adopted. We still occasionally foster. Eventually we will adopt senior pups but for now, we choose to enjoy the company of other's pets and love them up. I think your pet will enjoy us as much as we will enjoy them... A lot.
