Pet care experience
Howdy! My name is Marian. I’m very animal oriented and focused on understanding the emotions of the pets. I’ve worked with a wide variety of animals with varying degrees of needs, including everything from disabled horses to literal blind mice. Because of my experience working at a wildlife center and a rescue horse ranch, I can handle the nitty gritty and gross parts of pet ownership like a pro and I excel at making sure medical needs are met. I’m an art student at GSU in my last semester, so my classes are super flexible and my availability is very adjustable. I have my own dog boy who loves other animals and has gotten lonely ever since my roommates moved out, I’m sure he’d love some company if your pup would like to be friends and share a walk!

Marian loves animals and responses well to the individual needs of each pet. She has taken care of my high energy special needs dog in the past. Keeping appointments and being punctual about obligations are very important to Marian. I have Marian scheduled to take care of my dog for ten days this month, and I am sure she will provide a safe and loving envirnoment.

Knowing a little about their personalities would be very helpful, as well as if they’re afraid of anything or have specific needs when on walks (doesn’t like concrete, grass, sand, etc), or if they need shorter routes because of age or other limitations. Knowing if they are dog friendly or child friendly would also be very helpful, as certain parks and trails have more kids or dogs and they can be avoided if need be.
A typical day
There are quite a few trails in the statesboro that I’m sure we’ll have a great time exploring together! My friends sometimes like to come along for walks when I take my own boy out, so if some people exposure would be good for your pup, just let me know! Once the new dog park comes in this summer, I’d be happy to include a visit there upon request.
