I am a lifelong dog, cat, and horse owner. 20 years in the horse industry, extensive experience caring for all manner of pets and livestock including dogs, cats, horses, birds, rabbits, reptiles, cattle, goats, spiders etc. I feel very comfortable with all manner of dogs including dogs with anxiety or reactivity issues.

Hi, Mariah is THE BEST animal person I know! It does not matter which animal. She can talk to them all. She is kind, patient, trustworthy, dedicated and punctual. She has trained horses for me and helped me with my dog so that now he is a great traveling companion to me. She can always be counted on to come over and feed or help my with my animals at a last minute request. I can't say enough good things about Mariah. She will be an excellent dog walker.
Kathleen or Mariah, as I know her, worked for me managing my horse barn. She had a nice touch with the horses and was always willing to do what I asked of her. I wouldn't hesitate to have her care for any of my animals or look after my house while I was away. She's a very hard worker and easy to stay in touch with.
Kathleen has taken care of my kitties on a number of occasions, and I can't think of anyone more reliable, knowledgeable, or caring to entrust with the care of my furbabies. I always come home to happy and well-loved cats after every trip out of town, and I know that if an emergency were to come up while I was gone Kathleen would be able to handle it. She also has years of experience caring for dogs and horses with equal knowledge and reliability - let Kathleen take care of your critters, you won't regret it!

I prefer to have a general idea of what is "normal" for the animals under my care. How they generally behave, their personalities and habits, likes/dislikes under normal circumstances, etc. So that I know how to interact with them appropriately and what behaviors or changes might be cause for concern.
A typical day
I am open to adding a certain amount of games, bits of obedience training, or confidence building activities to visits and walks. More intensive training available at a higher rate.

I work for myself and my schedule is flexible. I prefer to maintain a short list of regularly scheduled clients but I am open to drop ins and more sporadic scheduling as well.
