Welcome to our sitting profile! Janel and I are a mother/daughter that joined forces in our new home last year to continue my college gig of dogsitting via Rover. Lately, we've been on hiatus for the past six months to adjust to our new home in Brookland, DC. As a result, you are seeing a three year old profile in which Janel and I have watched many dogs of many walks of life! Together we make up years of experience in dogsitting, between my years of boarding kennel experience to Janel's years of being a dog momma and brief German Shepard breeding (we love big dogs!). With us, your dog has a safe oasis home away from home. We understand the value of your fur baby has a member of the family and we treat our dog guests as such. We love animals so much we're even vegetarian! We have experience with a wide range of breeds, ages, and sizes. Janel and Mariah both work from home, so your dog gets ample people time and affection.

Mariaha did a fantastic job and my special needs Shih TzuGloria . Went on her own vaca. I was very pleased with the pictures and updates during her stay. When I picked Gloria up, I found her very relaxed and playful. Her needs had been addressed. I received a full update on her adventures, behavior and health. I appreciate all the attention and care that she received during her vaca. I was able to leave on vacation with no worries.
Janel and Mariah took great care of our two fur babies! We had a feeling that they were going to enjoy the visits with our cats, and after the first set of daily photos came in, we knew the cats were going to enjoy some above-average interaction :)
Mariah took great care of our puppy and was willing to work with us on short notice. We were very happy with the whole experience.
This was our first experience with Rover the first time we have left Jessie with anyone other than a close friend. We were a little unsettled but what a happy outcome. Janel and Mariah clearly love dogs and were also sensitive to our concerns. They sent us photos and updates every day and it wasn't long before we were convinced that Jessie was in good and caring hands. I recommend them enthusiastically to anyone who is concerned about a dog's physical and emotional well being.
