Pet care experience
**Currently only offering Cat care at this time** I grew up in a family that bred and raised show dogs and rescued cats, as well as ran a dog boarding kennel for a majority of my life. I have experience with all different types of breeds, and understand the fundamentals of behavior. I have also worked in several grooming salons and doggy daycare centers/ cat boarding facilities. I am personally a cat person, and have a lot of love for all kitties. I love interacting with them and forming bonds with them. I research cat behavior often, and am always educating myself about them. I personally believe that jobs like these require experience in the field. I am also Liscensed Veterinary Technician, who is practicing at a local clinic.

Mariah was punctual, the house was tidy and our pets well cared for. Mariah communicated with us several times and responded immediately when we wanted news of our fur family. Even with a few house problems (furnace and a broken bed) Mariah was a trooper and resolved all and didn't seem frazzled at all.

We were very pleased with Mariah, this was the first time we considered leaving Jodee with a house sitter. We went to the Maine coast for 3 days and returned to a happy dog and no complaints by Mariah. She was very professional, considerate, pleasant to be with. She walked Jodee several times and cared for her the entire time. We would not hesitate to use Mariah again, already planning on that, and want to recommend her to others considering a wonderful dog sitter.

I would like to be aware of any type of aggressive behavior. I have zero tolerance for outward aggressive behavior from dogs or cats, and will refuse service to them for my own safety.
A typical day
For kitties, I usually will engage in play time during my drop in visits if the owner requests to do so. Otherwise I will go in, do feedings, clean/fill waters, administer medications of needed, and make sure litter pans are clean. I always make sure the owner's home stays tidy as well.

Availability
I currently work full time. I work 730am to 5pm Monday - Wednesday, and 7:30 am to 7pm Thursday and Fridays. I able to do drop ins morning and evening, weekends I am usually available all day if needed.
