Pet care experience
I'm an animal lover of all kinds but especially doggies 🐾 Since the age of 10 is when I first learned how to care for dogs. It started with our family dog and then it grew into walking, feeding, and pet-sitting for neighbors, friends, and other family members dogs. I have volunteer experience at a dog rescue shelter and doggy daycare in Chicopee called Mutt Rescue and have gone through an animal behavior training provided by Animatch. No matter their age or breed, I love them all!

Mariah pet sat for our dog, Holly, for five days and did a fantastic job. She was very attentive to all Holly’s needs, including feeding, medicine, plenty of walks, bathroom breaks and lots of love. Mariah has an expansive network of UMass trails and properties adjacent to her backyard, which makes for pleasant dog walks. She is flexible to if the dog needs a shorter or longer walk (which was variable for Holly, as she got adjusted). Mariah sent updates and pics every day, which gave us a peace of mind. Mariah is trustworthy, responsible, and communicative - all making her the perfect pet sitter. I highly recommend Mariah! ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Mariah has watched my husky Keno every time I've gone away- she's my go to. I prefer to have Mariah watch Keno at her place as she has an amazing meadow, woods, and trails right behind her house, an enclosed deck he can hangout on, and her home is all one level so no stairs for my old guy to go up and down. Also, I like hiring her because I know when she is watching Keno, it is just him and all her attention can go to him. She is respectful, responsible, and always in communication with me and sending pics/videos of Keno for me, which puts me at ease. Nothing but top notch service from her and I know I can trust my boy Keno is in the best of hands.

A typical day of watching your dog would be whatever your preference is- you tell me! I am an outdoor Recreation Specialist, and so, I enjoy being active in the outdoors and would love to provide that for your doggie as well if you so wish.

Availability
I work full time for the state, Monday - Friday, but I have the ability to work remotely throughout the week some days. Other than work, I am fully available in the afternoons & nights / weekends & holidays. If I am pet sitting your dog and need to be in the office that day, my work is only a 3 minute drive from my house and I can come home often to check on them/take them out.
