Hello! I’m Mariah - thank you for considering me to take care of your furry family member! Let’s have a tail-wagging good time! ♥️ Leaving your animals while you are away can be stressful, but my goal is to make this a seamless, fun, and wonderful experience for you AND your pet! I am new to Rover, but not new to caring for animals! I have been an animal lover my entire life - from volunteering at my local animal shelter in Pittsburgh, working with puppies training to be service dogs through Canine Companions for Independence, fostering animals through San Antonio rescues (Charming Pet Rescue), watching several friends’ dogs, rescuing 5 dogs off the San Antonio streets and finding them loving homes, and advocating for animal safety - spay and neuter your pets, folks! I love all of God’s creatures (even bugs - crazy, I know!). I am the proud dog-mom of a ~4 year old super-mutt named Plato who is my best friend. He absolutely ADORES having friends around (which is why we started Rover in the first place!). He will be a great comforter, playmate, and companion to your baby!

mariah and cedar truly are the best dog sitters and humans! can’t forget their adorable pup, plato! solo lovessss hanging with them all. my mind is at such ease when solo is in their care. highly recommend!

I am Red Cross trained in Dog CPR and First Aid - so your baby is in good hands. I typically only accept one pet at a time for boarding - so your baby will get ample attention. If we have 2 furiends coming, I always ensure their temperaments will match (who doesn’t love more friends at playtime?!) and that both owners are on ‘board’ with additional friends. You will never have to worry about how your pup gets along with multiple other dogs like you would with traditional boarding. I live in a townhome in Upper Fells with plenty of nice places for walks! We are also only a few blocks from Patterson Park, Fells Point, and many other wonderful areas for furry friends! I am constantly walking and running with my dog and will take your doggo on adventures and walkies too! I walk my dog using a leash and harness at all times - your dog will be safe and leashed for all walking and outdoor activities! I have a space ready for your dog’s crate/den in my bedroom so they will be safe and warm. I have a small back patio where they can romp, sit and sunbathe (and bark at squirrels, if they so desire…) I’ll send ample pics of your fur-baby on all of our adventures! Now SIT, STAY, and book me for your WEEKEND AWAY! ♥️

I love taking my dog on adventures and cannot wait to care for yours! (My dog is spoiled rotten - he eats more treats than he probably should and goes just about everywhere with me - including on airplanes!) I promise to love your dog like my own and give them the best “dog-cation” while you are away! I am a broke Johns Hopkins Resident, and my husband works from home. Your baby will never be alone. Thank you for considering us to watch your furry family member - it helps with stress relief, financials, and keeps our pup happy too!
