Pet care experience
Choosing the right pet sitter is an important decision as a pet parent. To ensure a perfect fit I am open to a "Meet & Greet" prior to booking. I have enjoyed being a pet parent for as long as I can remember to fish, hamsters, dogs, cats, birds, and more. My passion for taking care of others started as a small child with my own animals and my grannie (who lived with us). Being an 18 year veteran teacher taking care of small children certainly transferred over to taking care of pets. In addition to owning two Shelties, a rescue dog and cat, our family of four fostered many dogs over the years for one of my colleagues non-profit rescue organization. Once, we even rescued and raised a baby Bluejay into adulthood! I love all creatures big and small even lizards, frogs, caterpillars, and butterflies!

Please let me know ahead of time if your pet(s) have any special needs such as behavioral training, medication administration, food sensitivities, etc. If I am doing overnight house sitting, please let me know if you need plants watered, garbage taken out for collection, etc. My low house sitting rate allows you to tailor your pets needs and get you the best rate possible. Please note that the 'house sitting' rate covers overnights with your pet from 9am-9pm. If your pet needs daytime care, please add these on as additional services based on how often you would like me to walk, let out, feed, or check-in on your pet.
A typical day
Exercising your pet is just as important as exercising the humans who care for them. Beach walks are my absolute favorite! I also enjoy walks around the neighborhood, a game of fetch, relaxing outside (or inside), or perhaps, even teaching your dog a new trick or two!
