Hi, my name is Maria, and animals are my greatest passion (aside from my children)! I grew up with dogs and used to have a cat. I recently became a stay-at-home mom. Pet sitting allows me to take care of animals while still being able to stay at home with my kids. I live with my husband and my four sons, who love to play with kid-friendly dogs. Our neighborhood is very quiet, family-friendly, and clean. There are fields everywhere, making it the perfect place to take a dog on a walk. We also have a good sized yard that my dogs love to run around in. I’ve worked with many different animals and dogs and love all breeds. While I was in school to become a vet technician, I completed many internships. In doing so, I gained significant experience working with various types of animals and dogs. I was a vet tech for 3 years and used to volunteer at an animal shelter in Denver. I know what to look for when animals are sick or not feeling like themselves and am able to administer medications to dogs, if needed. I’ve watched dogs for most of my family and friends, who always call me when they have any questions about their pets. During my free time, I love to relax with a good book or watch my favorite TV shows. With 4 boys, I don’t get a lot of free time, but love spending quality family time with them. We like to go hiking, on road trips, and to play at the park with our dogs. Most people would describe me as friendly, loyal, and caring. I tend to put other people's needs before my own and am dedicated to helping people and making those around me happy.
