Hello Pet Parents, My name is Maria, Ive dedicated most of my life to the dogs, my first vivid memory of my love for dogs was when my mother and I took care of a litter of puppies at the age of five. When I was in college I took up a job at a local doggy daycare and that is where I gain professional experience as a Dog Handler. I was in charge of overseeing “playgroups” where I had 20+ dogs in one play area. This is also where I really learned in depth how dogs behave and how the communicate with us and with other dogs. I also learned training techniques from a certified trainer, and implemented them into my everyday role. Later on I worked on rover and a dog walk walking service for Two years from my home. It was a great experience being able to do what I loved from the comfort of my home. I never had any issues and all my Repeat clients were happy to have my services and some of the dogs didn’t even want to leave. During this year I had the opportunity to work at another doggy daycare in SF where I had the chance to work with the dogs again and work with the clients side of the business. I also had the chance to really gain more experience on dog behavior with the Trish King Dog Academy, and got my certification. When I adopted my Deaf English Bull Terrier, Phillipo; about two years ago, it was Amazingly difficult. He is one of the smartest dogs you will ever meet, but there were so many challenges in raising him. I trained him from day one with all the experience that I had before from my previous dogs and work. He loves dogs and enjoys having dog company over, he tends to be weary or strangers but is super friendly once he gets comfortable. My troublesome twins are Ralph and Alfredo, I found them in box in the rain one morning last year when I was out walking my bully. They were only 6 weeks old, since I regularly find strays and foster dogs I thought I would help them find a home. Turns out they had already found a home in my heart, they’ve been my boys ever since. They have been though a lot in their short lives and are not that fond of strangers although they have gotten really better with a lot of positive reinforcement. Ralph and Alfredo do love dogs and have always been around other dogs since they were puppies. Thank you for considering me as your sitter and I hope to be your dogs next best friend. Maria Valladares
