Pet care experience
I have been working in the dog care business for about 7 years. I’m very attentive and experienced when it comes to care and pet needs, my moto is “what the dog needs, the dog gets.” I firmly believe that pets need the absolute best care and the most amount of love they could possibly get. I love dogs of all breeds, shapes, sizes, and ages. I can administer medicines, and basic grooming care (everything except haircuts). I will love your dog like my own! I have an afghan hound, so all hounds and stubborn dogs are my specialty. I have worked with trainers, so I can also help with some basic commands like sit, stay, paw, and the like. Young ones or old ones, I love them all!

My dog LOVED having Maria to hang out with while I was gone! She was also so great and understanding with my skittish/angry cat, even when she started getting aggressive/territorial. Maria was responsive and always kept me updated on my beasts, so I never worried that they weren’t getting excellent care. Would absolutely book again!
So happy to have found Maria to look after our dog and house sit. Clearly has a love for dogs and sent us updates and pictures throughout the trip! Always responded super quickly and came back to a very happy dog and a tidy house!
Maria kept good communication during the stay. All my 3 dogs are happy and healthy when we are back. House is neat. Great experience.
Maria was amazing! She took car of TWO of my dogs and treated them like her own. She was very caring and attentive to their needs. Definitely recommend her and will book her again in the future!

Before meeting a dog I would just like to know his/her temperament. Are they active? Lazy? Afraid/weary of strangers? Do they like other dogs or not? I have absolutely no reservations about any breed, I love them all.
A typical day
I love walking in town, playing fetch, hide and seek, and tug of war. I love going to the dog park (I have worked in daycares for four years, so I can handle large groups of dogs), and any other activities that you request.

Availability
I work full time 9-5 during the week, but am fully available on weekends. If your house is close enough to my job I could stop by during lunch, but otherwise I won’t be back until the end of the work day.
