Pet care experience
Dogs and cats are my favorite people, I absolutely love all of them. They are naturally drawn to me and I like to give them lots of love and attention. I have had animals for the last 16 years and have also cared for friend’s pets so I know the importance of trusting your sitter. I have also rescued dogs and volunteered in different animal shelters back in my home country, Venezuela, so I am familiar and comfortable with all the areas and tasks involved. I started with Rover in 2019 in NYC and have had many satisfied and happy clients. I am new to the JAX area and can’t wait to make some new furry friends. I have a beautiful mixed-breed senior dog, Lulu. At the moment I’m not able to pet sit at my place but I have full availability to stay in your home.

Maria watched our 2 dogs in our home and did a fantastic job. She communicated with us very often and sent us pictures so we knew how everything was going. 1 of our dogs ended up getting sick the day we left and had an accident in the house while Maria was watching them and she handled the situation like a total pro. I’m always very careful when I take dogs on walks. Always double check harness, collar and leashes, and keep my eyes on them at all times, making sure they do not eat anything off the ground! While at home I keep a risk free environment, and make sure they are comfortable and stimulated :)

I’m comfortable giving meds to dogs that need it or meeting any other special requirements in exercise routine or diet, just let me know ahead of time!
A typical day
We will take long walks so they can explore and smell, once we are back home we can exercise, play with their toys and of course, cuddle!

I have a full time Job from 6 am to 2 pm so I’m not available in the mornings unless it’s on my days off which are Thursday, Friday and Saturday
